Intel has officially released the 3.06GHz Xeon processor despite shipping the chip to system vendors some time ago. In addition to the 3.06GHz part, there's a 3.0GHz version. Both contain 512KB of on-die L2 cache. What differentiates them - apart from the 60MHz, of course - is frontside bus speed: 533MHz for the 3.06GHz chip, 400MHz for the other. | ||
