Create the Ultimate Cyberathlete, Contest! Calling all Deviants, the Cyberathlete Professional League and deviantART, Inc., have teamed up to create one of the sweetest contests we've ever put together. Your mission is to design what could become the mascot for the CPL, the ultimate Cyberathlete. Your creative freedom is limitless, there is no specific criteria other than to interpret on your own what the ultimate Cyberathlete should look like!

Launched on June 26, 1997, the Cyberathlete Professional League is the first organization in the world to establish computer game competitions as a viable spectator sport. Today, the CPL is the global leader in competitive computer gaming, holding massive events in the United States, Germany, United Kingdom, Holland, Norway, Singapore, Australia and Brazil. The CPL events offer: computer game tournaments with cash prizes of up to $150,000, music concerts, computer case competitions, product exhibitions, spectator arenas, workshops, and large BYOC areas. Contest Information

Filesize and dimensions are unimportant, but the we need the mascot artwork to be in vector format. .EPS or .AI suitably. This location should contain all the CPL logo art you might need. Contest ends October 16, 2002 and winners will be announced shortly afterwards.

Contest Eligibility

We need the mascot artwork to be in vector format. .EPS or .AI suitably. In order for your submission to be eligible it must be submitted prior to the close of the contest. Furthermore, it must be submitted to Contests Ultimate Cyberathlete. Any submission that does not meet the aforementioned requirements will be considered ineligible. Prizes will only be shipped within the continental United States. If you are a Non-US resident and win a prize, you will be able to ship the prizes to a friend within the continental US. Otherwise, you may be eligable to receive deviantART memberships or prints as a prize instead.
