I have posted my review of Microsoft's Mobile Memory Mouse 8000 (ActiveWin.com's 500th), the first mouse to include 1 GB of flash memory as part of the receiver. Don't forget to read the other 499 ActiveWin.com Reviews, which includes such beauties as Byron's Windows 98 SE Review Here is an excerpt: Once you insert the transceiver / memory stick combo, the drive appears in your devices just as any other thumb drive. The transceiver is officially dubbed "Microsoft 2.4 GHz Transceiver with Memory v1.0" and will give you about 30 feet of range. The drive holds 1 GB of memory and hopefully in the future subsequent versions will include at least 2 GB or more. Unfortunately, the memory stick cannot be used for the ReadyBoost features of Windows Vista. Also, this device is the only Microsoft hardware device released recently that is NOT certified for Windows Vista. <%=GetPoll(117)%> | ||
