New Flaws in Internet Explorer, Outlook Reported | |

Two new security flaws have been reported for Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser and Outlook program and have been rated "high risk" by the private security firm that discovered them. The vulnerabilities were sent to Microsoft by eEye Digital Security, which also posted an advisory on the company's Web page. Microsoft has noted that it is looking into the vulnerabilities, but has not had any customer reports of attacks, according to news reports. A spokesperson for the company added that when an investigation is completed, Microsoft would take appropriate steps to protect users. | ||
