The state Attorney General's Office has convinced lawmakers that a proposal being pushed by Microsoft Corp. would weaken Washington's landmark law against unwanted and misleading e-mail. The measure, Senate Bill 5734, is expected to lapse under a committee deadline next week, leaving the core issue to be studied over the summer and revived next year. | ||
