"WPF/E" is a codename of a cross platform presentation technology that is a key part of Microsoft strategy to facilitate high fidelity user experiences for the Web and beyond. “WPF/E” enhances browsers to render rich content that is defined by XAML markup in addition to natively rendered HTML markup. XAML allows browsers to render rich vector graphics and animations, video, audio and high fidelity text. Consistent with web architecture, the markup is programmable using Java Script. To enhance the browser, one needs to install the appropriate "WPF/E" lightweight cross-platform, cross-browser package that is free download from Microsoft. | ||
