Active Network Server Transfer Has Started | |

Finally, the server transfer has started. The news you see here is on our new machine and line. The guts of ActiveWin.com have been torn to shreds and reworked with new SQL thanks to Will. That is what took so long, and we apologize for that. The new news pages are designed for optimizing speed and reducing downtime and lag. There also have been database changes to improve speed. The comments and forum databases are one, except about 20 new users who will be imported into database on Monday. All static content pages and e-mail are still on the old server and the full transfer will be done on Monday. Search will work on Monday. The comments password limit has been changed. And, the full URLs to our story links now show up. If you have any more suggestions please e-mail us. Comment below on the improvement. There are still bugs so please excuse the inconvenience while we finish up the work. But for the meantime, enjoy the new fast news pages. This is definitely removing tons of bricks from our shoulders. | ||
