  • DOWNLOAD: Game Maker v5.2 [4.0M] Win98/2k/XP FREE You may not need to know programming to do what you've dreamed of doing... creating a game, but you'll need time and patience. I wish Game Maker was around at a time when I could play any game, which was BK (before kids). The help file is detailed and the program features adding sprites, objects, sound, backgrounds, and rooms. Transform sprites by scaling, adding transparency, coloring, fading, and more. When trying the program for the first time, start with the beginner mode and get a feel for it before upping to advanced mode. Pacman comes with the program, so create your very own version of Pacman or even make a ghost the good guy and Pacman the bad guy.
  • DOWNLOAD: NetMeter v0.9.9.9b [600k] Win9x/2k/XP FREE Watch a little monitor to see the connection speed. NetMeter includes reports with totals, project, daily, weekly, and monthly data for upload, download, and both. The bars in the graph as well as the system tray icon (up and down arrows where up represents upload and down... you got it, download) are color-coded for easy referencing indicating a fast or slow connection. If nothing else, enjoy the pretty little graphs.
