Consumer awareness of paid-for music sites is rapidly increasing, but the biggest challenge is still convincing consumers to pay for music, according to the latest research from the US. Market research body NPD Group found that Apple's iTunes music service registered the highest awareness, with 20% of consumers aged over 13 knowing of the service.
