A CRITICAL PROBLEM noted by Symantec and other bug tracking sites which leaves Internet Explorer open to attack by worms still remains to be fixed, it appears. The "zone bypass" problem appears to leave IE open to a critical vulnerability if a web page has lots of file:// requests in separate frames. But so far, unless it's totally bypassed us, we haven't seen a fix for it from King Voley. | ||
