Lisa Hook, head of AOL's broadband service, noted that more than two million other subscribers reach AOL most of the time through another company's high-speed connections even though they misguidedly continue to pay the $24 a month for dial-up service (instead of the additional $10 on top of their broadband connection charge), giving AOL more broadband subscribers than the add-on services from either of its rivals Microsoft or Yahoo. | ||
