Update 22:56: Ariel Sharon, Israel Prime Minister has just declared the US should face those horrible terrorist attacks. He has also presented his sincere regrets and stated his nation was ready to help the US, as much as they could. Sharon concluded saying: war against terrorism is now needed.

Update 22:22: President Bush is expected to speak to the US nation on TV for the the third time of the day. The intervention should occur in the evening but no hour has been disclosed yet.

Update 22:21: Remaining aircraft accounted for, American confirms. American Airlines is now confirming that all remaining airplanes in the American Airlines system, including TWA and American Eagle, have been accounted for and are safe. This morning, two American jets carrying 158 passengers and 17 crewmembers were lost in apparent terrorist attacks. Federal authorities shut down air traffic in the United States today, and American has cancelled its scheduled flights through at least noon Wednesday, making it difficult for American CARE team members to be flown in from other cities to assist. Nevertheless, local CARE team members based in New York, Boston, Washington and Los Angeles have been called to local airports to assist relatives of those who may have been on board Flights 11 and 77 during today's attacks. American is also in touch with relatives to offer assistance by telephone. "Every effort is being made in every corner of the company to help the families of our customers and our fellow employees," Chairman and CEO Donald J. Carty said of the assistance effort this afternoon. American also said that, once flights resume, the company will reaccommodate customers on AA, TWA and Eagle without penalty. Update 22:15: A large number of fire engines, police cars etc have been destroyed under the rubble of the World Trade Center, the surrounding area is completely covered in dust.

Update 22:04: Third target of the attack on the U.S. was Camp David a U.S. spokesman has stated, the plane crashed into Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh plane was definatly hijacked as a passenger called into an emergency phone operator who said he/she received the call and was informed that the plane had been hijacked.
