Lord knows how long we’ve waited for this. Ever since we heard the chaps at Free Radical Design – consisting of a merry band of development talent from Rare who worked on Nintendo 64’s genius first-person shooters Goldeneye and Perfect Dark – were going to provide a sequel to the straight-laced blasting action of TimeSplitters, everyone’s interest was suitably piqued. With promise of objective led missions, more complex design and a multiplayer to knock your 007 socks off, TimeSplitters 2 already had a million watchful eyes gathered on it, eagerly ticking off the days until release. Would it equal the two said 64-bit games, after all this time of others trying to mimic and surpass them?|
