Analyst Christopher Shilakes reiterates intermediate-term "buy" and long-term "strong buy" ratings on Microsoft after hearing a presentation on Xbox Live, Microsoft's initiative to allow video game players to communicate with one another via voice over broadband-only networks. Shilakes expects "considerable interest" in the service from gamers, given that 100,000 signed up for a chance to be beta testers. Microsoft plans to expand Xbox sales into Mexico, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Korea and New Zealand, Shilakes adds. | ||
