DirectX 9 has hit beta 2. We have been told that the beta 2 version of the SDK has been posted currently, while additional downloads will be released in the next few days:

We are pleased to announce that DirectX 9.0 Beta 2 has released to BetaPlace. You may download the DirectX 9.0 beta 2 SDK at http://www.betaplace.com. Additional downloads will be available in a few days.
