Thanks go our to Matt who e-mailed in these confirmed details about the Xbox, some are well known while other parts might not be. Official Xbox European site: From Thursday those of us In Europe should gain access to various Euro XBox sites via http://www.xbox.com Importing/Export Games: NTSC games will not function on the PAL Xbox and Vice Versa. The console has 3 gaming zones on it (similar to region coding for DVDs) they are America, Europe and Asia. European's should not worry too much though as Importing titles from the U.S. will still be cheaper than buying the games in stores in Europe. Supported Video Signals: : RCA ; RFU ; S-VIDEO, RGB ; TV HD 60 / 50 HZ Selection : There will be an option to select the output frequency between 50 & 60 HZ for the games in Europe. But this will be up to the developers to implement. | ||
