Despite a series of delays in recent months, Japanese developer From Software is finally gearing up for the release of its network compatible simulation for Microsoft's Xbox, Thousand Land. Scheduled for release March 20 in Japan, the game will boast a Sim City-style gameplay system. Players can physically mold the terrain, build forts and place weaponry throughout the landscape. The finished version will feature hundreds of campaign-style missions, several multiplayer modes and will support online play. Despite the realism and complexity of its gameplay system however, Thousand Land will be set in an alien world populated by cartoon-style characters. | ||
