Microsoft gave us our first look today at the sort of new content they have in the works for MechAssault, their very pretty (and online compatible) robot fighter. As it turns out, Microsoft and Day 1 Studios have all sorts of stuff in store for Xbox Live subscribers; they'll gradually be launching the new stuff starting next month.

The first extra Microsoft's devised is "Hell's Kitchen," a new multiplayer map that supports all five game modes and is set in a large, volcanic industrial world. Pix of this new map are right below. Other planned expansions include new BattleMech robots, extra maps and even a few new game types, including Capture the Flag.
