Microsoft Corp. (NasdaqNM:MSFT - news) on Monday denied it held a monopoly or had violated antitrust law, and asked an appeals court to throw out a lower court ruling that would break it into two separate companies. In a 150-page brief ahead of oral arguments set for February, Microsoft said District Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson ruled incorrectly that its business practices were anti-competitive. | ||
