CeBIT: Nokia and Real Networks Will Cooperate | |

At the CeBIT Nokia and Real Networks have announced a long-term cooperation. Henceforth the Finns will use the mobile version of the Real One Player in their GPRS and UMTS end devices. With it mobile phones shall provide even more multi-media features. Now Nokias mobiles and Smartphones could receive and play video and audio streams on demand, the two companies stated. Via the mobile Real One Player - it is called Real System Mobile the videos can also be transmitted from PCs to mobile phones. Digital Rights Management features (DRM) for the rights management of files shall be integrated likewise. DRM systems enable individual licencing of copyrighted work and with it the payment of originators dependent on use. | ||
