  Apple uses DMCA to close down hacker sites

Two websites that report on efforts to make Mac OS X run on non-Apple computers were closed down on Friday after receiving legal notices from Apple, citing violations of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). One of the sites was later restored after removing posts from its forums

According to the Associated Press (via The Washington Post, the sites featured links to information explaining how to hack the Intel-compatible version of Apple's operating system.
