  Pioneer Releases v1.14 Firmware For DVR-108, DVR-108AXL, And DVR-A08XLA

Pioneer Japan has released a firmware update for their 16x DVDRW drives, the DVR-108, DVR-108AXL and DVR-A08XLA. Here's what Pioneer has listed in the change log for the 1.14 firmwares:

  • Reduction of 12X/16X DVD-R Writing time
  • Reduction of 12X/16X +R Writing time
  • DVD-R Writability Improvement
  • +R Writability Improvement
  • CD-R Writability Improvement
  • DVD Playability Improvement
  • CD Playability Improvement
