Microsoft sponsors Lollapalooza to boost Xbox sales | |

Microsoft Corp., in a bid to boost sales of its Xbox video-game machines to 16- to 24- year-olds, said Wednesday that Xbox will sponsor the Lollapalooza rock-music tour this year. Terms of the sponsorship weren't disclosed. The tour starts July 3 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Bands such as Queens of the Stone Age and Jane's Addiction will play more than 30 concerts in the U.S., Microsoft said in a statement distributed by PR Newswire. | ||
