Sales of Linux servers in the U.S. market grew 90 percent to US$384.6 million in the fourth quarter compared with the year-ago period's total of $202.2 million, according to research firm Gartner Dataquest. This growth rate seems particularly dramatic when compared with overall U.S. server sales, which inched up a mere 5 percent in the fourth quarter from the same period a year ago. | ||
