The Mobile WML Converter Add-in for FrontPage can jumpstart your development of a WML (Wireless Markup Language) site by converting existing HTML (HyperText Markup Language) files created for a static Web site to WML format. The WML protocol is specifically designed for browsing by wireless mobile devices such as wireless phones. The WML Converter Add-in recursively searches through the folders of the HTML Web site you specify when you run the tool, reading the contents and hyperlinks contained in the site’s HTML files (files with .htm or html extensions, opened in FrontPage). The conversion tool then creates WML card files from the contents and hyperlinks discovered during the search, and stores the converted files in the destination directory that you enter.The WML Converter add-in does not modify your HTML source files. | ||
