Pinnacle Systems Inc., a leader in digital video solutions, announced today Pinnacle Studio version 8, the platform for Pinnacle Systems' consumer line of video editing solutions. Based on the technology that has earned Pinnacle Systems eight Emmy Awards for Technical Achievement, the Studio products have been ranked as the industry's top-selling products for the last two years. Pinnacle Studio version 8 adds integrated DVD/VCD/SVCD creation tools as well as real-time transcoding from DV to MPEG2. The powerful new features will appeal to customers who have never edited before and to individuals who use existing Studio or competitor products and want to advance their movie-making capabilities. Studio 8 will be available as a standalone software product through select resellers in August for $99. | ||
