In-Game advertising is nothing new and while many have complained about developers exploiting their own game space in the form of promotional marketing, it has become a part of today's industry. Tonight we noticed the latest in this growing trend while playing Ubisoft's Rainbow Six Vegas. During a Team Survival match taking place on the Dantes map we noticed that several of the posters scattered throughout the Bravo team spawn point had changed from what we'd seen having played the same map only 30 minutes earlier. The default poster is promoting the grand opening of the casino's Poker Room, but this time through the map it was a movie poster for the upcoming theatrical release of Smokin' Aces. | ||
