- DOWNLOAD: Advanced Strategic Command v1.14 [9.5M] Win9x/2k/XP FREE Considering I'm a dunce at strategic games, I won't be able to do the game justice and instead will tell you what it can do. Paul would probably like this one, but he is busy expanding his knowledge on Unix and SQL. ASC is designed in the tradition of Battle of the Isle, which I've never played (you can play it by e-mail). When the game loaded, I was scratching my head, unable to figure out what to do next - since there was no cue anywhere. No text. Just a black screen with a map. Ah-ha! Scroll the mouse to the top of the screen to get the menu! In comparing it to other similar games, this looks like a good one. When installing the game, it will offer to download sound to go with it and it is a 10 meg download.
- DOWNLOAD: HarddiskOgg v2.4 [536k] Win9x/2k/XP FREE
Convert any Windows compatible wave input stream into an OggVorbis, Wav, Monkey's Audio, or MP3 stream. Those who wish to record audio from TV can do it with HarddiskOgg for up to about 18 hours per gig. Audio files can be played while the program is recording audio. It requires Lame_enc.dll to run and its help file explains how to get it. Send the last recorded file as an e-mail with one click. The cut feature is nice, too; when a song ends and another starts, click on the scissors icon to stop the recording on one file and start a new file.
