  • DOWNLOAD: GIF Vault Been looking for small GIF images that are guilt-free? Download the gif vault to get over 7,500 32x32 images sorted into categories for use on Web pages. You can use them in papers, but they're optimized for Web pages. Since they're 32x32, many could be converted into favicons (the picture next to the URL in the address box) or Windows icons to replace the boring ones that come with Windows. Categories include sci-fi (Star Trek), computers, comics, flags, sports with many US professional teams, video, and more. The author also offers other programs and vaults like the JavaScript Vault, HTML Stripper, and Simple Budget.
  • DOWNLOAD: FOFF v1.0 This password protected program allows you to select start up applications and then prohibit them from starting when the computer starts up. Prohibitions are based on extension names (exe, bat, .com). To get the original password, look at the default_pass.txt file. Instructions are limited. It's an option for preventing unregistered executables from being executed.
  • DOWNLOAD: PerformanceTest 5.0 Build 1007 Performance Test allows you to objectively benchmark a PC using a variety of different speed tests then compare the results to other computers. Twenty-seven standard benchmark tests are available in seven test suites plus there are five advanced testing windows for custom benchmarking.
