On January 21, the U.S. District Court in Baltimore, Maryland issued a preliminary injunction requiring Microsoft to include the latest Java Runtime Environment (JRE) from Sun Microsystems in certain current and future versions of Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft Internet Explorer and enjoining Microsoft from certain separate or "stand-alone" distributions of the Microsoft virtual machine (Microsoft VM). | ||
