C&C: Generals GameSpy Daily has posted an edited transcript of the developer chat for Command & Conquer: Generals. Among other things, the developers claim that an alpha release was reached on 15 September. Can't wait!

"As promised, here's a cleaned up version of the transcript from last night's GameSpy Arcade C&C Generals Chat. Participants in the chat included Harvard Bonin (H-Bomb), Westwood's EA's Chris Rubyor (Delphi-EA) and GSA Moderators [GSI]Spiff & Cobby - and 477 people attended the event, in hopes of asking a question and scoring a spot on the General MP Beta Test. Only three people walked away with that destinction, but plenty of questions were answered and lots of fun was had."
