  InterVideo Provides DVD and MPEG Playback in Microsoft's New Windows XP Media Center Edition

InterVideo, Inc. today announced that its DVD and MPEG playback technology is powering key capabilities in Microsoft's newest member of the Windows XP family, Windows XP Media Center Edition. Using InterVideo's technology consumers will be able to watch DVDs and recorded TV on Windows XP Media Center Edition computers. "Microsoft sought to work with the best-in-breed technology providers in creating Windows XP Media Center Edition, and InterVideo is a leading provider of DVD and MPEG playback largely due to the success of WinDVD, the world's most popular DVD software," said Steve Ro, founder and CEO of InterVideo.
