In Microsoft We Trust? New Brouillard Communications Study Shows More Americans Would Hand Over the U.S. Government to Bill Gates
Time: 15:45 EST/20:45 GMT | News Source: Press Release | Posted By: Byron Hinson

Should the U.S. government run more like a business? If so, most Americans would vote to hand Microsoft the keys to the White House. That's the finding of a new study by Brouillard Communications, which asked people which company they would most like to run the U.S. government -- and which they would be least likely to put in charge. But Bill Gates shouldn't be too quick to edge George W. Bush out of the Oval Office. The Brouillard study also found Americans view Microsoft much like that other Bill who just departed the West Wing -- highly effective and innovative, but lacking character and prone to poor behavior. The deeply divided feelings about Microsoft are among the findings of the Brouillard study, which surveyed a random sample of over 1,000 Americans (voting age of 18 or older) on their views of corporate reputations by asking them which company they would trust to run the Federal government.
