  • DOWNLOAD: FLV Player v1.01 [475k] Win FREEPlay any Flash video file that ends with the .flv extension. FLVs are nice because they're already compressed (made as small as possible for faster download). This simple player just opens and plays videos so you can repeatedly watch videos without having to go to the site whenever you're in the mood to watch the video. However, you can't just watch any video - you have to be able to download it and not many are downloadable. We wanted to bring this to your attention so you would know that it is sometimes possible.
  • FAVORITE: Schedule World This is an Internet-based calendar that would be ideal for small businesses to use in managing meetings, vacation, and billable-hours reporting. It can be configured to work with Outlook and offers internationalization capabilities. The client-server capability is ideal for those who are always on the go and using different computers to access the Internet. Its interface is not intuitive, but the program will be handy for those it suits. While it's currently free, they're working to set up a fee-based service, so this is an opportunity to evaluate whether or not it's for your company.
