  • DOWNLOAD: URL2BMP v1.03 [360K] Win9x/2k/XP FREE Convert any Web page to a graphics file in jpg, bmp, png, or tiff format. It's a great way to build a portfolio if you're a Web designer or a content developer. Converting the Web page to an image saves the trouble of downloading all of the components on the page. You can control the output size by changing the image size. URL2BMP has many creative uses and it's a small program that doesn't require installation, just click 'n run.
  • DOWNLOAD: VG Screen Saver v5.0 [3.3M] WinXP FREE Also download the VG Quotes Database so you'll have plenty of inspiration instead of an empty screen saver. After opening the Quotes file, rename it to VGScrSvr.MD3, and copy it into the VGSSView folder (yes, replace the existing file) When the program is installed, go to the Display properties (Control Panel or right-click the desktop and select Properties) and change the Screensaver to Vgscrsvr. To change the settings, click Settings. I had to change the colors since I was being blinded by some of the combinations. The screen saver is not fancy, but it's a great way to learn new quotes. Click on the program's executable to edit the quote database (don't let database freak you out, not that bad). Note: This version expires on July 1, 2004 only to ensure you update the version. The site also offers other free programs that might be worth a look.
