  System Mechanic 3.6b Released

Iolo Technologies has just released a new revision 3.6b of their leading set of system utilities called System Mechanic. New to this free update are the following bug fixes:

  • Compatibility issues with Junk File Tool and Office XP
  • Error when rebooting system after using Privacy tool to clean internet cache
  • Minor compatibility issue with Registry Cleaner and Windows Millennium
  • StartUp Items in registry were not being disabled properly in StartUp Manager under Windows 2000
  • Miscellaneous compatibility issues with Netscape 6.0 in Privacy Tool
  • Internet Explorer 5.5 cookies were being removed unreliably by the Privacy tool.
