This roundup is divided into three categories of controllers: flight, hybrid, and miscellaneous. Flight controllers, obviously, include HOTAS (Hands on Throttle and Stick) combos, individual flightsticks and throttles, as well as yokes and pedals. These are the ideal input devices for games such as Combat Flight Simulator 3. Hybrid controllers consist of left-handed devices that feature a gamut of buttons and / or keys that either replace or augment the keyboard. These are used primarily in strategy-based games, like Age of Mythology, and first-person shooters, such as Unreal Tournament 2003. The final grouping, miscellaneous controllers, is a mixture of several genre-specific products. They include an arcade joystick, virtual reality glove, light gun, and motorcycle controller.|
