Digital Bits is reporting this juicy little rumor that classic film fans will go ape over!

Could the greatest gorilla movie of all time finally be on its way to DVD? Just maybe. Word has reached us that Warner and The Voyager Company (a sister company of The Criterion Collection) may jointly be planning something they're calling The Definitive King Kong: 70th Anniversary Edition, which would be a 3-disc special edition of the 1933 classic. Tentative word is that a fall release is expected.
