Last week, Microsoft had its annual Financial Analyst Meeting, in which Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer told the assistants there wont be an Xbox successor in the next year. We discussed the implications of that in this previous story.
But Ballmer wasnt the only Microsoft exec that talked about future plans and the next round in the console wars at the Microsoft Financial Analyst Meeting 2004.
Bryan Lee, Corporate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Home & Entertainment Division, told analysts Microsoft is ready for the next generation and determined to win the next round.
