As if we needed another reason not to get stranded in the middle of nowhere... the DVD debut of The Hills Have Eyes, the notorious Wes Craven cult classic gets the two-disc treatment from Anchor Bay Entertainment on September 23rd. Featuring a new 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital and DTS remixes, extras include audio commentary with Craven and producer Peter Locke, the new documentaries "Looking Back on The Hills Have Eyes" and "The Directors: The Films of Wes Craven" career retrospective, an alternate ending, still galleries, storyboards, trailers and TV spots and the complete screenplay via DVD-ROM.
