In its efforts to drive sales of its Xbox video game console and obtain a competitive advantage in intense competition with rivals Sony and Nintendo, Microsoft Corp. has tried a number of strategies, most famously a $100 price cut on its console two months ago. It has been the Canadian subsidiary Xbox Canada, however, that has come up with what has perhaps been the company's most successful brand-strengthening initiative. | ||
