Gamespot UK have posted a review of Fifa World Cup 2002. They gave it a final score of 7.2/10. Here is some of the review:
The first thing that strikes you about the game, when you get past all the bells and whistles, is the pace. Slow to the point of stopping, the initial speed setting is ridiculously underpowered and makes the play look like it's in the middle of a slow motion replay. This is not good and gets in the way of a flowing game of football. Whack the meter up to maximum and things improve but only slightly. In short, FIFA World Cup, in terms of pace at least, is less your average Premiership match and more your Sunday afternoon game of bowls.
