Microsoft plans to ship a new security product in June, charging $49.95 a year to shield up to three PCs against viruses, spyware and other cyberthreats, the company said on Tuesday.
As previously reported, Windows OneCare Live's June debut marks Microsoft's long-anticipated entry into the consumer antivirus market. That space has long been the domain of specialized vendors, led by Symantec and McAfee. Microsoft announced its intent to offer antivirus products in June 2003 when it bought Romanian antivirus software developer GeCad Software.

BTW, Abbas was a terrorist in the 1980's. However, PLF terrorism ended in 1990 and it has been reported that it was because Abbas later rejected terrorism. Israel even allowed him to travel through the Gaza Strip throughout the 1990s because he supported peace negotiations in 1989.

There is but one thing to be said of the effort it Iraq, it is a good and essential second step.
What cannot be said is that the effort in Iraq is even a theater of operations - not by itself - Iraq is only a part of that theater - one battle in a much larger war. The war won't, because it cannot, end there. What many fail to realize is that America, Great Britain and many other countries made a choice and that choice was not made opposite Iraq, or even because of it - the choice was made by American leaders and others - to fight the war on terror at all.
The choice was more fundamental than Iraq - do we fight them, or do we accept the attacks and risk even greater assaults? The answer was obviously, "yes, we we will fight them, because it is the right thing to do." It was that simple. Iraq, in its proper context, was where we would fight next - we had to break a band of hate that would one day obtain nuclear weapons - Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan - skip - stomp - skip - stomp, disrupt - break out individual teeth and the animal cannot chew as easily. Divide, press and pursue.
The left may be correct about one thing...they may not want our freedoms and democracy - that "was" fine - right up until they didn't want "us" to have our freedoms either. Given that, whether they want freedom or not, didn't matter any longer.
Forget any and all politics of any kind - what you are watching is simply a war strategy being executed - successfully. If it is necessary to kill all of them - the enemy, then that will be their choice, not ours. You think a liberal democrate won't fight this war - in the same way?
You're very naive if you do. You think Microsoft, GM, or Boeing are going to go away - stop competing? Nuts! Sorry, but as empires go and how they run their course, you'd better get used to this one, because it's still very young and has a long way to go. One more thing - be assured of this...every American President "must" extend/grow the empire - even the appearance of stagnant or negative growth will result in his/her swift defeat - we eat Presidents that do not provide for growth. This war hasn't even started and it sure isn't going to end in Iraq. More than any people, nothing is ever enough or good enough for us - more power in everything - cars, computers, planes. More, more, more...it is just who we are - like the universe - what stop? okay, so it stops, but what is on the other side if it does? we can't accept that the answer is "nothing at all." Seems brutal, until you weigh the alternative...so let's say it stops...ends...then what? 476 through the dark and middle ages until the redisocvery of Greco Roman philosophy? Yeah, that was a pleasant 1,000 years! What a waste. Waste - yup! Waste all but time and you'll be forgiven. I mean, we used to burn wood, then coal and Kerosene. Gas, a by-product of kerosene production, was cheap - burn that ye ole inventive creature. No more gas? Burn waste [BIO fuels] - ever toss a rock as a kid into a stopped up drain field - Boom - pretty sparks... It isn't new, and it isn't a surprise - it just is. Oh, if you don't like it, you can leave - I mean, seriously, go live outside the empire. There are millions of wonderful people willing to take your place and pay their dues just as nearly all others did - Irish, Germans, Chinese, all that make us as interesting as we are. Yes, I know, many paid way too much - who said it would always be entirely fair or perfect? It did/does always get better for all - not equally, but eventually and that does matter. Sorry all - it just is the way it is. I'm quite sure plenty of gauls were pissed at one time, too. Didn't matter a whole lot for a really long time. Just accept it and take your kids to the zoo.

NotParker, the liberals plan for winning back the Presidency and the Congress is to tell you, ad nasuem, that Bush lied; people died. That's it! That's their plan! lol
Yeah, those plans are working out about as well as that open sore migration in Munich or the so-called savings that the Paris PD says they will save in their migration . . .
Tofu, or whatever his name is, had it right: open sore isn't ready for prime time on the desktop and neither are liberals in the halls of power.
Now back to the original story . . . what was the original story about anyway?@#!@@#

#25: Oh no, you've figured Parkkker out! He's the ultimate sycophant. And don't try to enlighten him (I argue with him for fun when I'm bored) as he has no ideas of his own and will just trot out the same old, tired, WRONG information if you try to present genuine facts to him.

Jdhawk, it's all the same story - it's just told differently - punctuated differently.
It's super simple and very basic math: People want (everything). Some people understand
that individual liberty must be accompanied by individual accountability and responsibility and that mitigating the consequences of individual failure must, at some point, end - usually between the ages of 19 and 21.
We can examine the truth of this in this thread with this simple dialog:
In the example below "P" will = "people" "M" = Microsoft "O" = "Open Source Movement" (anything that has the word, "Movement" in it scares the daylights out of me), "J" = The DOJ/Liberal Executive Branch and "S" = Science
P: The Internet is cool - lot's of naked people
M: We do Internet, too
O: Minix - cool, we can learn how to write an OS
J: Inter...what?
S: Good Lord...
P: The Internet is cool - hey, we can use this for stuff and still see lot's of naked people
M: We do Internet, too
O: Linus - maybe my teacher won't tell anyone...about Minix
S: You've got to be kidding, right...?
J: Monica who....?
P: Whoa, naked movies!
M: Desktops, Servers, Internet - just a bigger extensible network - ok, cool, we can do that.
M: Whoa, it's that easy, huh? Oh oh...huge surface area...we'll get back to that...for now we have to connect all this because "P" needs its 2 AM feeding....
P: More...More...More...More...right now!!!
P: What, pay? Are you nuts? It's on the Internet, it should be free!
O: Everything is free - especially "M's" stuff
J: Hey, we have to help tax this stuff
S: See...I told ya...

M: We're paying for this...so wait a second...
P: No

O: Use us!
P: No
M: No
J: Yes
P: No
S: What!!!
P: It's all J's, M's, and O's fault
M: No, it's your fault, too, but we can't say that, because J said so
O: Use us
P: No
S: Yawn
J: M, fix all this right now and give it to both O and P, and now
M: Okay
P: Too late, we're still mad at you, M
M: Okay
M: Here, It’s free
J: Better not be…!!!!
P: Still mad
O: See, P's mad...we were right
P: Shut up, O
S: Good Lord O, listen to P
J: M, we need more $$$$ because P is mad and O is noisy
M: Okay
O: M, now that just is not right, you weren't actually supposed to fix it!!!!
O: Please use us...
P: Uh...NO!
S: <loading pistol>
J: M, don't even think about responding to P
M: we have to
J: M, be prepared to pay O as you take care of P
M: Uh..okay, I think
S: <placing pistol against own head>
P: Dang....high res naked people
M: Yeah, but you can also do some good with it, too
M: Okay, it can be secured, here ya go...features, plus security... no matter what you do to yourself with high-speed naked people
J: O, sorry, we tried
O: try harder
J: Why?
S: O, shut up, you're still just a Minix knock off...
M: Does anyone see this...you can do some good with it...
O: Well, at least we agree on that
M: We always did
J: We can't have that
P: Dang...more naked people
S: P, please read something...anything
O: M, knock it off...you're killing us
J: Yawn
M: Nope
P: Dang, naked people on-demand....
M: P, please read something...like the instruction booklet...just once...please
P: Nope, read it to us
M: okay
J: M, be careful
O: yeah M, better listen to J
S: <pulling trigger>
P: Where'd everyone go...?
M: The beach!
O: Oh yeah, use us P
P: How? We can't read
M: Wow...look at all the naked people on the beach
J: Tax what P? they all left
O: Oh oh, there's no one left to blame
P: More, more, more, more
M: Hey P, shut up and pass the suntan oil
J: O, sorry dude, P's pissed, so it's your turn
S: See, I told ya.
P: Dang O, that stinks, where's M?
M: The beach, P, just as we said before.

"You keep repeating the Jew hating line just because people disagree with you "
I keep bringing up jew hating because it is a barometer that exposes people as hate mongers.
When Saddam Hussein started paying a $25,000 bounty to suicide bombers families as a reward to killing jews, this should have been a sign to people that he was the bad buy.
But no, people like you and Latch are mad at Bush for deposing him.
And surprise, surprise n4cer starts putting up posts excusing Abu Abbas's crimes.
Jew hating is the common ground the extreme left and the extreme right and Islamic extremists have in common.
International Answer is the organization that organized the anti-war marches. They are a front for hard core Stalinists. Stalin was as famous for hating and killing jews as Hitler was, and as the Islamofascists are.
Those who side with Saddam or Stalinists or Nazis and their modern equivalents are sick.

Being a "bad Guy" is not a justification for the invasion of a country. Bush is a "bad guy" for calling for hands-off on several occasions when we had opportunity to catch Zarquawi because he wanted to continue to use him as justification for the war. He's also a "bad guy" for telling our forces to leave the drugs in Afghanistan. He's a "bad guy" for talking about spreading freedom and how when people have a choice, they'll choose freedom, but quickly dismissing the people's choices in Palestine and Iran (Thanks Bush, you brought us a government run by Hammas and Iran hates us even more -- thanks so very much for this "progress" :-( ). He's a "bad guy" for not funding "No Child Left Behind" and cutting veterans' benefits, and preventing tortured US soldiers from collecting money for the torture they received from Saddam. Not to mention, he's a "bad guy" for going to Iraq when the 9/11 hijackers were from Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Last in this post, but definitely not last in reality, he's a "bad guy" for not reading a PDB or having a security meeting before 9/11 and sitting on his butt after being told we were under attack, and again, sitting on his butt while New Orleans flooded.
Again, your logic sucks, you attack the messenger instead of the message, and you try to change topics and/or focus on distractions whenever your original argument breaks down. Then you go back to the same tired generalizations (and likely projecting) that I mentioned don't even fit me in my first post. Who'd have thought, a "liberal" that likes MS and hates the GPL. I got news for you -- I'm not the only one.
Arguing this further is pointless when you can't even acknowlege reality, and seeing as you've now resorted to the Hitler "defense", I'll also say that if you actually read up on most fascist regimes, you'll find that their methods are pretty similar to that of the current Administration and its followers -- not surprising with the old Dixiecrats running things. This thread is now useless.
