Saddam had no WMD?
Sorry, Activewin, scold me if you must, but...
Ok ass-hats...I and forty thousand other Gulf War Vets know very well that Saddam not only had, but used, WMD. Not only did our alams go off, but specific and highly scientific tests
confirmed the presence of Sarin Nerve gas. Sadly, we had all been loaded up with
anti-toxins designed to protect against Somain variants that actually made us MORE vulnerable to Sarin gas. Even in tiny amounts this stuff made me/us sicker than I can descirbe and within two years, I had more than 100 quarter sized tumors removed that had attached to my nerves. These hurt like hell, too, but you get used to that. The surgeon, sick at his stomach, stopped cutting at 1,000 stiches, plus. Thousands of these fun little devils grow larger every day and did I say they hurt like hell? They grow on really small nerves too - in the inner ear, brain and sclap. When they grew around my neck, they snapped me backwards and in half - see when they break they expose their contenst and you convulse - you twitch and the pain is furious. You get up. You go to work, but you do fear when it will happen again. You fear what you see in your kids eyes as they react in terror at what this does. If I were the only one, I'd be grateful and really glad that others do not, but about half the guys in my old unit have the same thing - same tumors and same surgeries.
After a time, you just stop - you stop getting cut into and you suck it up and move on.
AND the only thing numerically higher than these things we have is the number of NBC 1 through 6 reports we all sent opposite the chemical alarms we all heard - the damn things were so numerous it sounded like a sea of chirping birds. Oh, no pitty pot here fellas - I didn't take a dime in disability - just my retirement after two decades of service. Instead, I pay other Vets that honor me with their work and loyalty in our company. I don't use the VA, either. I pay 100% of all employee health costs - even the tax applied to the benefit. You see, the real heroes and the real Vets are the men and women that didn't come home. We owe them and we owe our President the benefit of the doubt. Forget the politics - I could give a flip, but don't dare assert that Saddam neither had, or would not use WMD. He did and he did use them. He used them on us.
