MSDN is in the process of rebuilding its core infrastructure, starting with a publishing system built using XML. Tim Ewald takes you on a tour through our new XML pipeline, examining how we use schemas (it's not about types), XPath (what would we do without you), and XSLT (hello SQL statements) to implement logic declaratively. He concludes with a look at our next steps, including making our plumbing more generic and exposing XML content to users through RSS and Web services.
