The Information Systems Manager Inc. (ISM) announced today that its latest version of PerfMan for Windows performance and capacity planning product includes tuning and troubleshooting functions for Windows 2000 and Exchange 2000 servers. The new features, available in PerfMan for Windows version 5.6, released earlier this month, flag potential Exchange performance issues and automatically provide information required for utilizing procedures from Microsoft's Exchange 2000 troubleshooting guides and Windows tuning guides. The recommended thresholds and help text, which are based on Microsoft Corporation recommendations, are built in to data views produced by PerfMan for Windows.
