MSNBC this week saved co-owner Microsoft from a huge embarrassment by firing Michael Savage after he launched into an antigay tirade on the air. Now the software maker is free to turn the page and return to business as usual. But, while the Redmond, Wash.-based company's handlers may be breathing a sigh of relief, the resolution of the Savage affair raises as many questions as it supposedly resolves. | ||

Soda, you don't have the entire clip and Savage said that he was hurling those kinds of personal and insulting remarks.
So it's his word vs no one elses. Like I said before, which you interestingly chose to ignore, Savage could've been lying or exaggerating, I already acknowledged that part. But then, don't let those pesky little facts get in your way. But it's the standard Liberal "If you say anything against us, you're a racist homophobe elitist Repblican facist conservative capistalist pigdog and you should be thrown into the Gulag for your offenses to the state" debate tactic that has worked so well for the Bill/Hillary/McCauliffe Democrats of today. Soda and his ilk like to bash on Conservative talk radio hosts (the popular ones, not the fringe like Savage [although he was gaining popularity fast, I admit, he's nowhere near Rush or Hannity]) but never provides anything to prove them wrong or anything. I've seen some sites that purport to show how wrong Rush is, but in just about every incident they cite, it's a matter of interpretation, or the site is just plain wrong about the facts/history. No, of course not, because you realize you've lost the argument and now you are trying to weasel out of it like the coward you truly are. First of all, I'm not a liberal. Second of all, you claim to not be defending Savage, then why are you so insistent on telling us all lies about what happened? We have the evidence... We have the clip from the television broadcast and we have statements detailing exactly what it is that was said and blipped out of that clip. None of these facts supports your claims. "Of course, now Soda will try to pigeon-hole me into being a ultra-Christian whacko just because I happen to know something about how Christians think and a little about monotheistic theology, but then, Soda always attacks character, not facts. " No... Daz attacks character not facts. Look at his posts. He called me a liberal when in fact I am not. I merely pointed out in this thread that what daz calls as facts are really nothing more than lies. Daz's response is to attack my character. It's so typical of these discussions, and it's the reason why daz keeps getting himself pounded into bloody meat whenever he brings up politics. :-( |

Ok, so you are admitting that Savage lied. There, we're done, end of story. Are you now stating that the facts that I presented proving that Savage in fact lied, that you lied, are not evidence that clearly proves them wrong? I don't understand this, daz. Why are you betraying my confidence this way? Why do you admit that Savage lied to end this discussion, but then go off on another one of your invisible imaginary liberal attacks? I'm SHOCKED... If it wasn't a boil on his butt like the military records show, then what was it? Revisionist history, my a**. The only person guilty of revisionist history is yourself, like trying to tell us that this caller made a whole slew of racial slurs and other insults at Savage which caused him to go off on a diatribe against gays. It's not so bad that you lie to me and the other activewin readers. What's really pathetic is that you lie to yourself. Patooey, just listening to you rant leaves a bad taste in my mouth. |

BTW, I'm done with this thread. I have better things to do today like wash and wax my BMW and take my new mountain bike out for a ride.
