Sega and Microsoft have announced that both ToeJam & Earl III: Mission to Earth and Shenmue II will be released in Europe in the first quarter of 2003, published by Microsoft.
A Microsoft man called the deal "a natural step in the development of our relationship," even though Sega are in the process of starting to publish their own games in Europe once more. It's interesting that the titles have been picked up by Microsoft and not Infogrames though, since Infogrames had been Sega's European Xbox and GameCube publishing partner until now.
But we have to wonder how well Shenmue II is going to sell, since the majority of people that would be interested in the title are those that had the Dreamcast original - and most of those people will have the Dreamcast version of the sequel, which was released over a year ago.
