One of the reasons that we like RPG's, is from playing Dungeon's and Dragons back in the day. Were there any RPG's that helped influence the game?
David O: Well, obviously everyone has experienced RPG play in their life. However, this game is a little light on the RPG elements, and is much more of an action shoot-em-up than a character advancement style RPG. When you look at the style etc, it's definitely got that fantasy era, and rather than go totally off the wall and create something that doesn't exist, it is based a little bit on Celtic Britain, which is obviously where I'm from and where our lead artist is from, and one of the programmers. And early on we were in that small team, and we thought it would be a nice unique setting that really hasn't been used that much, even though we are an American developer. So there is a Celtic look to the game.
