Microsoft has release Windows XP Service Pack 1 to it's Premier Support site - the thing is, it doesn't require any passwords what so ever so anyone can download it officially from the Microsoft Premier Support Site at this URL. How long this will last without a password we don't know. | ||

Well, we finally got my hands on it through alternative channels. (One of the benefits from your office being next door to a Microsoft's sales office)
BobSmith - You know it's this way with every service pack... don't know why. hughwolfgang - Microsoft will setup a mirror... next week when they release it to the public. :) It'll go out on their Akamai distributed mirroring cluster of servers and be easy as peach pie to download. |

Looks like they took it off the server. Get right had it downloaded to 132 megs then lost the server now for about 4 hours. So it looks as though they either moved it or took it down for a while. This post was edited by Dusty on Wednesday, September 04, 2002 at 01:51. |

I found a site that had about 5 mirrors. Not sure how good they are and much of the page isn't english, but heck...its more than you have now. ;)
